You don't need one photo with all your pets in it. You probably don't have one, and honestly, getting two or three animals to sit still at the same time and look at the camera is somewhere between difficult and impossible. That's the whole point of what we do.

Send us separate photos of each pet. One photo per pet. We combine them into a single portrait as if they were posing side by side. Same art style, same composition, one finished piece of art with your whole crew in it.

Upload your photos and preview the result in every style free before you spend anything.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose one photo per pet. Pick your favorite photo of each pet individually. They don't need to be from the same day, the same location, or even the same year. A photo of your dog from last summer and a photo of your cat from this morning work perfectly together.

Step 2: Upload and preview. Upload your photos and see all your pets composed together in every art style instantly. The preview is completely free. No account, no commitment, no credit card.

Step 3: Choose your style and product. Once you see how they look together, pick the art style you love and the product you want it on. Framed prints, canvas, mugs, apparel, phone cases, and more. Your multi-pet portrait works on everything a single-pet portrait does.

What You Need to Know

Most products support 2 or 3 pets per portrait. This gives us enough space to compose each pet clearly with room to breathe in the composition. Each pet gets proper placement and detail without being squeezed or cropped awkwardly.

The photos don't need to match. Different lighting, different backgrounds, different cameras, different years. None of that matters. We isolate each pet from their background and compose them together in a unified style. The final portrait looks cohesive regardless of how different the source photos are.

Different breeds and species work together. Two golden retrievers. A husky and a dachshund. A dog and a cat. A big dog and a tiny dog. Any combination works. Size differences between pets are handled in the composition so the proportions look natural.

We handle the composition. You don't need to worry about which pet goes on which side or how they'll be arranged. We compose the pets into a balanced layout that looks intentional, as if they were posing together. The result looks like one portrait, not two photos awkwardly pasted next to each other.

Every art style works for multi-pet portraits. Color, Black & White, Ink Wash, Marker. The style is applied consistently across all pets in the portrait, so the final piece looks unified. You can preview all styles before choosing.

Photo Tips for Multi-Pet Portraits

📐
Similar angles produce the most natural composition

If one pet is photographed from above and another from eye level, the perspective mismatch can make the composition feel slightly off. Photos taken at roughly the same angle, ideally at each pet's eye level, blend together most naturally.

☀️
Similar lighting helps but isn't required

Two photos taken in natural light will blend more seamlessly than one indoor flash photo and one outdoor photo. That said, we adjust for lighting differences during composition, so don't let this stop you from using your best photos even if the lighting doesn't match.

📸
Individual photos are better than cropped group shots

You might think a photo with both pets in it is the ideal starting point. Actually, individual photos where each pet is the focus tend to produce better results. Each pet gets the full frame, the best focus, and the clearest detail. Group shots often have at least one pet looking away, blinking, or slightly out of focus.

Multi-Pet Portrait Gifts: When One Portrait Says It All

Some bonds deserve to be in the same frame. Whether it's two dogs who share a couch, a cat and dog who tolerate each other beautifully, or a pet who has passed alongside one who is still here. A multi-pet portrait captures the relationships and personalities that make your household complete. A few occasions where a multi-pet portrait makes the perfect gift:

Pet siblings

Two dogs who grew up together. A bonded pair of cats. The portrait captures their relationship and their individual personalities in one piece. A framed multi-pet portrait is the centerpiece of any pet household.

The whole pet family

Some households have a mix: a big dog, a small dog, maybe a cat who tolerates everyone. A multi-pet portrait celebrates the entire crew and the chaos they create together. Preview every style free to find the perfect match.

Memorial and living pets together

Combining a photo of a pet who has passed with a pet who is still here creates a portrait that honors the bond between them. Two companions reunited in art, even when they can't be together in life. Our Black & White and Ink Wash styles are the most popular for memorial portraits.

Couples and family gifts

When someone's pets are their family, a portrait of all of them together is the most personal gift you can give. It says you understand what those animals mean to them. Upload their photos and preview every style free.

The best part: you can upload each pet's photo and preview every style before you commit to anything. It's completely free, and you'll know exactly what you're getting before you order.

Multi-Pet Portrait FAQ

Do I need one photo with all my pets together?

No. In fact, individual photos of each pet usually produce a better result than a group shot. Send us one clear photo per pet and we compose them together into a single portrait. The photos can be from different days, locations, cameras, and even different years.

How many pets can be in one portrait?

Most products support 2 or 3 pets per portrait. This gives each pet enough space in the composition to be clearly featured with proper detail and placement.

Can I combine different species in one portrait? Like a dog and a cat?

Yes. Dogs and cats together, two dogs of different breeds, a big dog and a small dog. Any combination works. We handle size differences and composition so the portrait looks natural and balanced.

Do the photos need to be taken at the same time or with the same camera?

No. The photos can be completely different. Different days, different years, different cameras, different lighting. We isolate each pet from their background and compose them into a unified portrait. The final result looks cohesive regardless of how different the original photos are.

Can I combine a pet who has passed with a living pet?

Yes. This is one of our most requested multi-pet portrait types. Any clear photo of the pet who has passed will work, even older photos. We'll compose them alongside your living pet as if they were together. Many customers find this to be one of the most meaningful versions of a multi-pet portrait.
