Perfect For
When One Portrait Says It All
Some bonds deserve to be in the same frame. Whether it's two dogs who share a couch, a cat who tolerates the dog, or a pet who's no longer with you alongside one who is.
Pet siblings
Two dogs who grew up together. A bonded pair of cats. The portrait captures their relationship and their individual personalities in one piece. A framed multi-pet portrait is the centerpiece of any pet household.
The whole pet family
Some households have a mix: a big dog, a small dog, maybe a cat who tolerates everyone. A multi-pet portrait celebrates the entire crew and the chaos they create together. Preview every style free to find the perfect match.
Memorial and living pets together
Combining a photo of a pet who has passed with a pet who is still here creates a portrait that honors the bond between them. Two companions reunited in art, even when they can't be together in life. Our Black & White and Ink Wash styles are the most popular for memorial portraits.
Couples and family gifts
When someone's pets are their family, a portrait of all of them together is the most personal gift you can give. It says you understand what those animals mean to them. Upload their photos and preview every style free.
The best part: you can upload each pet's photo and preview every style before you commit to anything.
Photo Tips
Tips for the Best Multi-Pet Portrait
Individual photos of each pet usually work better than cropped group shots.
Similar angles produce the most natural composition
If one pet is photographed from above and another from eye level, the perspective mismatch can make the composition feel slightly off. Photos taken at roughly the same angle, ideally at each pet's eye level, blend together most naturally.
Similar lighting helps but isn't required
Two photos taken in natural light will blend more seamlessly than one indoor flash photo and one outdoor photo. That said, we adjust for lighting differences during composition, so don't let this stop you from using your best photos even if the lighting doesn't match.
Individual photos are better than cropped group shots
You might think a photo with both pets in it is the ideal starting point. Actually, individual photos where each pet is the focus tend to produce better results. Each pet gets the full frame, the best focus, and the clearest detail. Group shots often have at least one pet looking away, blinking, or slightly out of focus.

Most products support 2 or 3 pets per portrait. This gives each pet enough space in the composition to be clearly featured with proper detail and placement.
Yes. Dogs and cats together, two dogs of different breeds, a big dog and a small dog. Any combination works. We handle size differences and composition so the portrait looks natural and balanced.
No. The photos can be completely different. Different days, different years, different cameras, different lighting. We isolate each pet from their background and compose them into a unified portrait. The final result looks cohesive regardless of how different the original photos are.
Yes. This is one of our most requested multi-pet portrait types. Any clear photo of the pet who has passed will work, even older photos. We'll compose them alongside your living pet as if they were together. Many customers find this to be one of the most meaningful versions of a multi-pet portrait.
