Two ways to hang two pets
You pick this after you see the art, not before. Here is what each one is.
One piece, together
One portrait with everyone in it, in one style. Dogs and cats together. It hangs as a single piece.
The price of the piece, plus one extra-photo fee.
Two pets: $10 in extra-photo fee.
A matching set
A separate piece for each pet, same style and same size, made to hang together.
Full price per piece, two pieces.
No extra-photo fee at all, because each piece has one pet in it.
Neither one is the fallback. Households with a wall full of frames usually want the set; households with one good spot usually want them together.
The extra-photo fee, in full
It only applies when pets share one portrait. One fee for the portrait, whatever it costs, never a charge per pet.
The extra-photo fee is charged once per portrait. Use the same portrait on as many products as you like, no extra charge.
A matching set has no extra-photo fee at all, because each piece has one pet in it.
You approve the artwork before anything prints.
Nobody has to sit still on the same day
Add one pet at a time
One photo per pet, added by tapping "Another pet" when you are ready. The one who will not sit still does not hold up the others. Come back with their photo later and the rest are already waiting.
Name each pet as you add them
The name is how we keep track of who is who through the portrait, and how a matching set gets labeled when it arrives.
One style for the portrait
Color, Black & White, Ink Wash or Marker, picked once. Mixing Ink Wash with Marker in one frame reads as two pictures instead of one household, so the style covers the whole piece, and a matching set keeps one style across all its pieces too.

Samples from earlier orders, shown with permission. Yours will be your own pets.
Color
Full color, background removed.
Black & White
Tonal, no color cast to argue with.
Ink Wash
Soft edges, wet-brush shading.
Marker
Flat blocks, hard graphic lines.
The style is picked once for the whole portrait, so the pets look like one household instead of two pictures.
Refined by hand by real artists.
More pets means more to get right. Every face in the piece has to land before it prints.
Questions the screens can’t answer for you
Do the photos have to be taken together?
No. One photo per pet, and they can be years apart. Nothing has to be a group shot.
Can each pet be a different style?
No. One style per portrait, and a matching set keeps the same style across its pieces. That sameness is what makes the set read as a set.
Does the fee apply again if I want the portrait on a mug too?
No. The extra-photo fee is charged once per portrait. Use the same portrait on as many products as you like, no extra charge. A different style is a different portrait, and that one does carry its own fee.
Can a dog and a cat be in the same portrait?
Yes. Any mix of two or three pets goes in one portrait. A dog and a cat, two cats and a dog, whatever your household is.
How long does it take with more than one pet?
The portrait comes back in under a minute however many pets are in it, and you do not wait separately for each one. Printing and delivery take the same time as a single-pet piece; the dates are shown at checkout.
What if it does not look right?
You see the portrait before you pay, and you approve the print-ready artwork before anything is printed.
One of my pets has passed away.
You can still include them. An older or imperfect photo is what most people bring us, and it is enough. Nothing in the piece sets them apart.
